What Can Japan Learn from Other Super-Aging Societies?

Japan is one of the world's oldest societies, but other countries such as South Korea, Italy, and Germany are also experiencing rapid population aging. Each country has developed different policies to address the challenges of an aging population.

Germany has expanded long-term care insurance and caregiver support programs. Italy has focused on community-based healthcare for older adults. South Korea has invested in digital healthcare and technology to improve elderly care. By studying these approaches, Japan can identify successful policies and adapt them to its own needs.

At the same time, Japan has strengths of its own, including advanced robotics and one of the world's longest life expectancies. Sharing ideas between countries can help improve policies and prepare for future demographic changes.

In my opinion, international cooperation is important because many countries face similar challenges. Learning from one another can help create more effective solutions and improve the quality of life for older adults worldwide.
